Lumos is a wonderful gentle old soul. He has a solid natural foundation start on him and after just 60 days training, and one trail ride, finished in the ribbons both days at the 2009 Taylorsville Trail Trials. Lumos backs, sidepasses, comes when called, stands next to objects for mounting, opens gates, drags obstacles, crosses water, climbs and descends trails like a surefooted goat. He loves people and attention. He has great natural barefoot feet. Rides in a rope halter. He has the best disposition and is willing to please. Friends describe him as a "one in a million" horse. His story is presently being published in three parts in Honest Horses Magazine.

"Oh my! It's a magic gate!"
This is a picture of my niece, age 7, riding Lumos in January 2009 with maybe perhaps a total of ten rides on him. My niece loves horses but had no real riding experience prior to her experience with Lumos. Lumos has competed at CSHA Trail Trials Events in the Intermediate division.
